At MD Esthetics we offer a variety of waxing and tint services. We can address almost any area of concern, and our waxing services are fully customized for each patient. Depending on sensitivity you may require a patch test before being treated. If using retinols, please make sure to discontinue use at least seven days before your service.

Waxing & Tinting FAQs

Does waxing hurt?
Waxing discomfort varies based on individual sensitivity and the area being treated. Our specialists use high-quality wax and techniques to minimize discomfort as much as possible. Over time, regular waxing can make hair grow back finer, reducing sensitivity with each session.
How long should my hair be before waxing?
For the best results, hair should be at least ¼ inch long (about the size of a grain of rice). This ensures the wax can grip the hair properly for a smooth and long-lasting finish. If the hair is too short, it may not be fully removed.
How do I care for my skin after waxing?
After waxing, avoid hot showers, sun exposure, and heavy skincare products for at least 24 hours to prevent irritation. Keep the skin moisturized and exfoliate gently a few days later to help prevent ingrown hairs. If you experience redness, applying a soothing gel like aloe vera can help calm the skin.
