What to Expect During Treatment
Before treatment, you will meet with one of our medical providers to determine if you’re a candidate for laser hair removal (all first-time patients will meet with one of our Board Certified providers). Come to your treatment freshly shaven. You should experience minimal, if any, discomfort during your session.
Optimizing Your Laser Hair Reduction Results
MD Esthetics might recommend a series of 8-12 treatments to achieve optimal results. With laser treatment, the number of hairs is significantly reduced. Even after one treatment, you may notice a significant improvement, but multiple sessions are almost always needed for long-term results. Since it is technically impossible to remove every hair, this is referred to as laser hair reduction rather than complete removal.
Post-Treatment Care
After laser hair removal, you might experience swelling or redness that looks like a mild sunburn. This is temporary, however, and there’s no downtime after the procedure.
