What is Microneedling?
FDA-cleared Vivace Microneedling with Radio Frequency is a virtually painless and non-invasive way to improve the overall complexion. This non-surgical treatment stimulates the production of collagen which brightens and tightens the face and neck and improves overall texture. Best of all, Vivace can be combined with other aesthetic treatments such as the Tetra CO2 CoolPeel or Platelet Rich Plasma, to enhance your results. A series of 3-5 treatments is clinically recommended.
What to Expect During Treatment?
The Vivace needle tip contains 36 insulated, gold-tipped needles that deliver a comfortable treatment at varying depths of penetration. The needles also deliver gentle radiofrequency underneath the first layer of the skin to promote your body’s natural healing process, creating collagen and enhanced skin laxity. Since the energy is delivered underneath the first layer of the dermis, downtime is minimal. Typical Vivace RF Microneedling sessions begin with topical anesthetic if the patient so chooses. The actual procedure takes approximately 60 minutes. During this time you will feel a slight vibrating, but any and all discomfort will be minimal.
How Long is Recovery?
After your session, you may experience some redness and irritation for up to a day, however, the procedure does not result in any downtime. You are free to go about your day after your session although we strongly advise against touching your face or applying anything to your skin for at least six hours. Daily application of a soothing topical cream is recommended for a week after your session. For the most effective rejuvenation results, it is clinically recommended to complete a series of 3-5 sessions.
