TED Hair Restoration Pre-Treatment Instructions
- Avoid alcohol
- Avoid excessive sun exposure
- Discontinue topical scalp products (minoxidil, oils, serums) 24 hours prior
Day of treatment:
- Wash hair thoroughly (clean scalp = better absorption)
- Do NOT apply hair products or leave-in conditioners
- Avoid caffeine if you are sensitive (optional)
Medical considerations:
Notify us if:
- Active scalp infection, psoriasis flare, or open wounds
- Recent PRP, microneedling or hair transplant
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding

- No downtime – you may resume most normal activities
- Hair may feel slightly damp or coated from serum
First 24 hours:
- Do NOT wash your hair
- Avoid: sweating, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, hair products
After 24 hours:
- Resume normal hair washing and styling
- You may restart topical treatments (unless otherwise directed)
What to Expect:
- No pain, needles, or downtime
- Subtle improvement initially
- Best results seen after a series (typically 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart)
- Continued improvement over 3-6 months
